Being a Catholic scout unit, we are all about community. As a community, together, we provide service to our greater community for the betterment of us all. With that said, COVID has really made it a difficult year for us to do anything as a community, working shoulder-to-shoulder as scouts, as we are best equipped to do. Well, I am proud to have been a part of a Christmas miracle yesterday where, socially separate, T6 families pulled together an amazing Christmas dinner for the 35 elderly residents living at the St. Mary’s Center in Oakland. Working individually in our own homes, T6 scouts each cooked a small portion of the greater meal that was assembled and delivered by our SPL. I was amazed to see how the individual contributions made such a generous offering! I am so proud of our troop! What a great way to put 2020 behind us! #T6Rules!
