This past weekend, Troop 6 cleaned up the annual Crab Feed, hosted by Corpus Christi School. Tons of people in Troop 6 came and cleaned up the school after a fun night!
Troop 6 came together this past week to prepare for our upcoming Court of Honor, including practicing knot-tying and frame building!
Recently, a member of our T6 community, Dr. Sellman, was able to attend one of our meetings at teach our troop about all kinds of medical facts. Everyone was even able to practice using a stethoscope, giving us all more understanding!
Troop 6 is practicing one of the most important topics in Scouting: First Aid! Over the past few meetings, we have sharpened our first aid skills, including bandaging hurt body parts.
In preparation for a backpacking trip, Troop 6 makes some delicious backpacking meals and roaring fires!

Sixteen T6 scouts and adult volunteers spend 7 days sailing the Florida Keys! After two years of intensive planning, fundraising, and a COVID quarantine, these hardy sailors safely completed their adventure of sailing, fishing, snorkeling, lobstering, and D&D playing! This was an experience of a lifetime!
Thanks to some excellent boy leadership, T6 continues to meet virtually through the Spring and Summer of 2021. Despite a cancelled summer camp, the Green Bar Committee continued developing weekly content for the troop to teach scout skills, promote advancement, practice leadership and have fun!
