Brad Shaw Memorial Pancake Breakfast Super Successful! Super Fun!

T6 Scouts, in full Class A Uniform, served the community at the breakfast

The T6 and Corpus community battled the rain to show up for the best breakfast in town on Sunday: delicious pancakes hot off the T6 grill, 4H ham and sausage, huge trays of berries and citrus, Peets Coffee and all the great company from the troop and neighboring community. What a super fun time!

At its peak (around 10a.m.) T6 Scouts and parent volunteers were serving upwards of 300+ people in the Corpus gym. Decorated with a traditional campsite, and the New “T6 Hall of Fame” (17 Eagle projects showcased from the last 4 years – all major contributions to our Piedmont/Oakland communities) Lots to be proud of with this group of young men!

Special thanks go to our Breakfast sponsors: Peet’s Coffee in Montclair, American Asphalt, Village Market, Clorox, First Republic, The Lennon Family, and Piedmont Grocery. Your generosity is deeply appreciated! All funds raised go to offset costs for Scout Summer Camp for Troop 6 and new camping equipment (sorely needed!)

This post would not be complete without thanking our tireless leaders: Sabrina Lui and John Kohler, as well as Sara Cumbelich and Mike Desler, who excelled as parent fundraisers. Scoutmaster Bruin and all parent volunteers made this memorable and enjoyable event possible. A Giant Thank You to all!
